What and where is the Dining Room Supper Club?? Supper clubs are sociable events where the emphasis is on the company as well as on the food. Most supper clubs sell tickets for the event in advance so that the exact number of diners is known. The reason for this is simple – it minimises waste so costs are kept down.
Starting in September, we will be hosting a monthly supper club in ‘The Dining Room’ and we hope that you will not only come with friends and have a great evening but that you will also enjoy the company of your fellow diners – you may well be seated at a shared table. The Dining Room, which is next door to Blackthorn and Willow at 6 Castle Street, Glenarm, is on the first floor up a flight of stairs.
Each month we will serve a three-course set meal featuring vegetarian and seafood dishes, using, as far as possible, local and seasonal produce. Tickets for the Supper Club, which cost £24 per person, need to be bought in advance and are available here at Blackthorn and Willow and also at Glenarm Visitors’ Centre. (If you are unable to call in for tickets then drop us an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) and we will arrange on-line payment.)
The time and dates for the supper club are: Wednesday evenings at 7.30 on 5th September, 3rd October, 7th November and 5th December.
As we do not have a licence we are unable to serve alcohol so please feel free to bring your own alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks.
Come with old friends and make new friends – please note that you will be sitting at shared tables.
We will look forward to welcoming you to the Dining Room!
